Yummi Pouch Review & Our Favourite Green Smoothie Recipe

If you read my blog, you probably know that I don't buy ready meals for my baby.  Ok we have eaten out a few times, but most of the time everything is homemade with carefully chosen ingedients. I also love letting him feed himself and have no big problem with the mess he makes.

But what happens when this mama has to work? When I work, Nereus stays with his dad who doesn't exactly has the same point of view. He tends to like buying ready meals (although he cooks and very good I have to say). He can clean up messes too but he prefers not to (I can't blame him).

So I was thinking of ways to make it easier for Philip but without having Nereus eating crap. That's when Katie, from Yummi Pouch contacted me to review their products. And honestly it was on the right time!

Yummi pouch, is like these juice containers we all know but a lot better. First of all because it's reusable, therefore more eco friendly. And second of all, because you control what gets in there and therefore you baby's belly. I have seen these kind of pouches (the disposable ones) on the bio store and for a moment I thought about getting them for Nereus cause the label said it only contained fruits. But seriously I don't believe that. How can simple fruit juice stay there for months? I mean, make a juice and put it on the fridge. Then check it out a couple of days later. See?

There is no doubt that Nereus was and is going to be having homemade juices and smoothies. When we were out, I used to bring an adult thermos type bottle and Nereus was drinking as I was holding it. But with the yummi pouch, he can do what he likes the most! He can drink his smoothie himself! So, in my opinion, yummi pouch is blw friendly, too! Can it be more awesome?

Yes! Yummi pouch is:

-easy to clean/dishwasher friendly
-freezer friendly
-BPA, phthalate, and PVC free
-cheaper than store bought

I'm also sharing with you our favourite green smoothie recipe!
