Merry Christmas

Totally awful photo. Can you even see us behind the moving old guy and the general blurriness?

I hope these days have been good for everyone. They were not very good for me but hey, that's life!

I don't want any negative thoughts in my head, so I'll write about the few ones that were pretty awesome!

First of all, I was honored to contribute to the Natural Parents Network with a greeeeat recipe. It's the almond coconut butter shown here before, actually. You can find the recipe here. You should check it out...and make it and please tell me what you think! It's awesome, trust me!

Phillip and I took a walk in the city the other day. We went to make our baby's name official which was a lot easier than I thought. After that we walked around and had some fun, we went to a bio shop and got some food. This made me seriously happy because we were really tight lately and we couldn't buy organic. Being in such a difficult financial condition make me enjoy grocery shopping so much. Don't feel sorry for me I kinda like it, it's a challenge.

Yesterday, my mother decorated the house a bit. Kinda late but better than nothing I guess. No tree for us this year, just a few ornaments here and there. I think it feels a little bit like Christmas eventually.

Earlier today, I had a walk with by boys and cousins to find some Christmas events. We only tried the carousel and Nereus didn't seem very happy about it. He also met a little baby girl and had a baby conversation! When the little girl's parents decided to go, my little boy was almost running behind her. It was so cute and heart breaking...I wish I had a friend with a baby so he could have a little friend at his age to play with...

Oh, I almost forgot, will you vote for my blog please? Thank you!

  1. I can see you guys behind the blurry old man! Don't ya just hate it when blurry ol' men jump out of nowhere to ruin a good picture! heheh....I hope things get better for you soon. I know that this is the hardest time of year for me and the fam. We cant even go outside because it like 10 degrees and I HATE the cold! I am curious about you guys making Nereus's name official...how does that work? Here in the states I am pretty (not entirely) sure you have to name a child within a certain amount of time...talk about pressure! :) Congrats on contributing to Natural Parents Network! How exciting!

  2. Hehe those sneaky old men! Seriously? We choosed his name when he was about 10 months old, ok it took as a while but you don't have to hurry up and name the baby here. We went το the registry with our id, signed a couple of papers and that was it! People who baptize their children don't have to do this, the church does it for them but we're not sure if we want to baptize him yet. Thanks I'm excited too!
